Well, incase the name didn’t give it away. This song has only been performed live only twice. The first time on my Wedding Day. October 9, 2004. A couple of you were there. FB CD Release on a Friday: Remember Howie Day? One night I was mad I couldn't write a popsong like that guy. I went to bed that night and woke up in the middle of the night and started writing this song. It's a complete failure at sounding like Howie Day? Hope you like it.

So I've made my first top 10 list. And not just with one song but 3.

All these songs made the CD Baby Folky Pop top 10 and have been on the charts for about 3 weeks. Not too shabby. Even if I say so myself.

As a kid I was always a fan of songs that tell stories -- The Gambler, Boy Named Sue, Homeward Bound. Stuff like that. And that's where Randall came from. I took the story of my dad's life and built this song. Once again Ben Willmott joins in on piano. I hope you like it.

FB CD RELEASE PARTY SONG #1: THE CICI SONG.

So this song was written for my daughter Cici. It took me 2 years and 2 hours to write. Two years of stressing out about it and 2 hours locked in a practice space to actually write it. If this song makes you slide around on your kitchen floor in your socks while you’re making breakfast, it’s done its job. Hope you like it.

First Fan

So I played the Relay For Life in Cohasett, MA on Friday night. At 9:30 in the middle of a field behind the high school, I notice a teen aged girl sit down and start listening. And after the show she came up to me and said, "I thought you were great. Are all those songs originals?" And I said, "Yep." And gave her a couple of CDs. The funny thing is, I think it was a cooler experience for me than it was for her.

Thanks teenaged girl from Hull. I think you're the one who rocks.
